1st Hole : "The White House"

This was once the third hole but it was decided on safety grounds, to play the third first and leave numbers one and two until last. The hole has a depression in the middle so that the drive is downhill and the second slightly uphill. The feature of this hole is the green which is not an easy one to approach with it’s guardian bunkers, a wall on the left and a road at the back. All these hazards add up to a most entertaining hole.
