Captains Day 2011
Thanks to all who participated in the Captains Day competitions, especially the sponsors, Steve Causton for the first prize, Clive Knight for the second prize and contribution to the “gifts”. A special thank you to Mark & Ben for their help in the organising the day along with the secretary and ground staff who presented the course in excellent condition, to Dave, the bar staff and the kitchen for the 4 ball platters.

The day was not meant to be a day for the charity, however, thanks to the Saturday afternoon group for your kind donation of £40 to the H4H kitty. There was also a surplus of £43 from the medal day and this has also been banked with the H4H fund.
The next big event on the golfing calendar is The Open at Royal St Georges from the 10th to 17th July. We as a club are supplying 30 marshals and are marshalling hole 11. Please see OPEN notices for more information.
